Cortez Simpson is the Executive Director of the 1STROKE Youth Development & Gang Prevention Program where “Teaching Our Youth How to Play Golf & Live Life 1 Stroke at a Time” is the program’s main

philosophy.  With Pinehurst, NC being his birthplace, golf became a passion of Cortez’s at an early age.  As the founder and Executive Director of 1 Stroke, Cortez has been given the unique opportunity to enhance the lives of students with emotional and mental disabilities. It has become his life’s mission to continue his service to all children through the 1STROKE program. When it comes to dealing with our youth, Cortez’s philosophy is to provide youth "A New School Education With An Old School Foundation."
